GOOD MANORS

GOOD MANORS is a modern brunch cafe at 218 Manor Lakes Boulevard on the corner of Ison Road, and it sits right next to the estate's dog park, which makes it the obvious coffee stop before or after a run around.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor and alfresco seating only, not indoors. Keep your dog leashed at the table and mindful of other diners, since the outdoor area gets busy with families. Being next to a dog park, water bowls are commonly out for pets, but confirm at the counter if you cannot see one.

Worth knowing

The menu runs from breakfast through dinner, with the Good Manors Breakfast, avocado stack and eggs Benedict anchoring brunch, and burgers, parmas and schnitzels later on. Drinks are a strength too: dirty chai lattes, cold-pressed juices and vegan smoothies. Hours are 8am to 3pm Monday and Tuesday, extending to about 9.30pm Wednesday to Sunday, with the kids' play space keeping the family crowd happy.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Manor Lakes Boulevard, plus a car park shared with the neighbouring park, so arriving with a dog is easy. Bookings are taken over the phone if you want a guaranteed outdoor table on a weekend.

Close by with the dogs

The Manor Lakes Dog Park is immediately next door, fenced and set up for a proper off-lead run either side of coffee, and the Presidents Park Fenced Dog Park in Wyndham Vale is a short drive further. The Jolly Miller is the other dog-friendly cafe option in the suburb.
