Miss Tilly's Delights

Miss Tilly's Delights is a small homemade food cafe tucked into Raylee Place, a quiet commercial cul-de-sac in Lynbrook, trading weekdays only from 6:30am to 2:30pm. It is a duck in on the way past kind of place: home made burgers, chips and sweets, solid coffee, and a calm street where a dog at the footpath table is no drama at all.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you at the footpath tables in front of the shop, outdoors only. The upside of the cul-de-sac location is real for dog owners: there is no main road traffic or busy strip noise, so it suits a nervous or young dog far better than a highway side cafe. No water station is advertised, so pack a bowl. There are only a handful of tables, so a mid morning weekday visit is the safe bet.

Worth knowing

Locals rate the house made cakes and meals, and the burgers and chips come up as the go-to orders. Weekend closures are the main gotcha: Saturday and Sunday the roller door stays down, so this is a working week coffee stop. The 2:30pm close also rules out an afternoon visit, and the full menu runs out the morning.

Getting there and parking

Free off street parking sits directly in front on Raylee Place, so there is no circling with a dog in the car. The cafe is a short hop off the South Gippsland Highway side of Lynbrook, which makes it an easy stop for locals and anyone passing through the corridor.
