For a run before breakfast, the Adamstown off-leash area allows dogs off lead early in the morning, and the Charlestown dog exercise area is the option to the south. Note that Blackbutt Reserve is nearby but dogs are not permitted there at all, a council rule that protects the wildlife, so plan your walk elsewhere.
