Kew Corner Store

Kew Corner Store is a cosy cafe, newsagent and small grocery at 155 Nancy Bird Walton Drive, just off the Pacific Highway in Kew on the NSW Mid North Coast. For travellers between Port Macquarie and the Camden Haven it is a well-known stop: quick coffee, homemade food and an early start that suits anyone walking the dog before a long drive.

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating areas, including the grassed area out the back, which is the pick for anyone with a dog in tow. No dedicated dog bowl is confirmed, so bring your own water. Keep the leash on at all times; the yard is pleasant but the highway runs close by, so a short lead and an eye on the surrounding roads is the sensible play.

Turn off the Pacific Highway at Kew and the store is easy to spot on the corner. There is a sealed car park out front with a mobility spot, extra parking behind the store and street parking across the road. Sunday mornings are the busiest; weekday evenings are the quietest.
