Riverview Cafe on Camden sits right on the Camden Haven River in North Haven, with outdoor seating that looks across to North Brother Mountain. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace, which is really the whole point if you are travelling with one.

Nearby with the dogs. A riverside walking path runs right past the cafe, good for a leg-stretch before or after breakfast. It is a short drive over the bridge to the Laurieton foreshore for more walking along the marina, and North Haven Beach is close by if you want to follow up with a swim (check the signage for leash rules).

Go early on weekends if you want a table on the terrace, it fills up fast once the coffee crowd arrives.
