Dunbogan Caravan Park overlooks the Camden Haven River on Ocean Drive, a short walk from Dunbogan Beach, and takes dogs in two specific cabins plus all its powered sites.

The pet policy. Dogs are allowed in Cabins 10 and 11 only, and on every powered site, pets are not permitted in any other cabin. The place. It's a quiet, low-key park geared to fishing, boating and beach access rather than resort-style facilities. Walking paths near the park suit an on-lead stroll before or after the beach.

Location and nearby. Dunbogan Beach is walking distance, with sections that allow dogs on and off lead depending on signage, so check current zones before you swim. Laurieton, just across the river, has dog-friendly cafes and Henry Kendall Canine Park if your dog needs a proper off-leash run.

Before you book. This suits campers and caravanners more than cabin-seekers, since the powered sites have no cabin restrictions at all. If you want a cabin, lock in Cabin 10 or 11 specifically when you call, and ask about the bond and cleaning fee together so there are no surprises at check-in.

Come for the river frontage and beach access on a budget, not for pool days or BBQ nights with the dog underfoot, those areas are off-limits.
