Jannali Coffeestation

Jannali Coffeestation is a short walk from Jannali station on Railway Crescent, and it has built a reputation among locals as a place where dogs get plenty of attention from staff and regulars alike. Reviewers regularly joke that the pups get more pats than the customers, and water bowls go out without being asked.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor footpath seating and, on cooler days, in the expanded indoor area. Keep your dog on a lead and clear of the food prep counter, and note there is no pet fee. Staff will sometimes offer a treat, but bring your own water on hot days as backup.

The vibe and the menu

Locals rate the coffee among the best in the Shire, backed by banana bread with locally sourced honey and a bacon and egg roll that anchors the early trade. The team opens 5:30am on weekdays and nearly every day of the year, and they are known for remembering regulars by name. The address is 56 Railway Crescent, an easy walk from the T4 line, with free street parking out front and a free car park behind the shopfront.

While you're out there

The Royal National Park is close but dogs are not allowed inside it at all, so plan your off-lead stop for the local reserves instead: the fenced multi-enclosure park at Helena Street, Kirrawee is a short drive away, as is the waterside off-leash area at Carina Bay. Back on the strip, Dose Jannali and Cafe Jolie round out the suburb's dog-friendly coffee options.
