Monty's Fusions

Monty's Fusions runs from inside the Mia Flora Garden Centre at 905 Beaufort Street in Inglewood, serving an Asian and African fusion brunch menu among the plants. The leafy, open air setting makes it one of Perth's easier calls for a proper sit down meal with a dog.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the garden dining area and on the verandah, on lead and settled. Water bowls are usually out in the garden section, and staff have been known to bring a puppuccino for the table. The paths between tables are wide and step free, so moving through with a leashed dog is straightforward.

Worth knowing

The menu is built around fusion dishes and is entirely gluten free: panko eggs, loaded toasties, flaky filo pastries and stacked burgers, with rotating sweet treats on display. Brunch runs 8am to 2pm Tuesday to Sunday, the cafe closes Mondays, and dinner service returns Thursday to Saturday evenings for the fuller fusion menu.

Getting there and parking

There is parking at the rear of the centre, which beats feeding the meters on Beaufort Street. Weekend bookings are recommended and can be made by text, so lock in a garden table if you are coming with a dog on a busy morning.

Pepsi: the garden centre setting means there is always something new to sniff between courses, far better than a plain footpath table.

Close by with the dogs

A short drive gets you to the Inglewood Fenced Dog Park for an off-lead run either side of the meal. If you would rather keep the morning on this strip, Finlay & Sons and Chubby Boy Breakfast & Bar are both dog-friendly backups along Beaufort Street.
