Pancha holds down a Racecourse Road shopfront in Hamilton with a reputation for the friendliest front-of-house in the suburb, and the dog set-up matches the welcome: front alfresco tables where dogs are welcome while the indoor dining room stays people only. Take an alfresco table at the front and your dog settles into a proper cafe morning rather than a footpath afterthought. Staff work the outdoor section directly, so water arrives without prompting and the treat jar has been known to open on request. Service starts at 6am Tuesday through Sunday with a 1:45pm close, and the earliest tables are both the quietest and the coolest for a dog in Brisbane's warmer months.

The kitchen earns its own trip. Chilli scrambled eggs and eggs benedict anchor breakfast, croissants come out early, and the longer menu runs to truffle miso pasta and arancini for anyone drifting toward lunch. There are vegan options marked across the menu, and the coffee holds its own against anything on the Racecourse strip.
