The Salty Beetroot

Getting there and parking

Find it at unit 6, 177 High Street, Fremantle. Street parking on High Street and the side streets is paid and limited, so the Walyalup Civic Centre car park and the Point Street car park are the practical alternatives, and Fremantle Station is a short walk away. It opens at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends, closing at 2pm weekdays and 1:30pm weekends.

Bathers Beach is a short walk for a scenic on-lead stretch, but note that dogs are not allowed off lead on Bathers Beach itself under council rules. For a proper off-leash session, the South Beach dog off-leash area is just down Marine Terrace. If you are lingering in Freo, Gesha Cafe is another dog-friendly table in the suburb.
