Appret Cafe

Appret Cafe is an all-day cafe in the Laurimar Town Centre at 1/101 Hazel Glen Drive, Doreen, running from 6:30am on weekdays and 7am Sundays, and it welcomes dogs in its outdoor undercover seating. It has built a local following on the Laurimar estate for breakfast plates, burgers and a family feel.

The dog setup

Dogs sit with you in the outdoor courtyard seating rather than indoors, on a lead and settled beside the table. Staff have a friendly reputation with pets, but water bowls are not guaranteed, so bring your own on a warm day.

It is a family space with prams and young kids moving through, so a dog who can settle under a table will do better than one who wants to greet the whole room.

The vibe

The menu leans all-day breakfast and lunch: smashed avo, burgers, hot chips and a cabinet of cakes, poured with Toby's Estate coffee. A kids menu and a steady mix of families and regulars give it a community feel rather than a cafe-scene one.

Getting there

The cafe sits inside the Laurimar Town Centre with an on-site car park, so parking is generally easy outside the weekend breakfast peak.

While you're out there

Laurimar Espresso Bar is a short walk away in the same town centre if you want a second dog-friendly coffee stop.
