The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor and veranda seating, which fronts the footpath and is the easiest spot to settle a dog beside you. The setting is casual and often quiet. Water bowls are sometimes available, so bring your own bottle to be sure.

Good to know. The juice bar and cold-pressed juices are the signature, alongside acai bowls, eggs benedict and a solid range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. It opens early, around 6.45am to 7am.

Getting there. Find it at 1/18 Knuckey Street. Metered street parking runs along Knuckey Street and the surrounding CBD blocks, so check the signs. An early visit between roughly 6.45am and 8am buys easier parking and cooler air.

Nearby with the dogs. Bicentennial Park is a few blocks away with scenic on-lead paths and ocean views, the Darwin Waterfront is a 10 to 15 minute walk downhill on paved paths, and Smith Street Mall is a short stroll for a city wander.
