Woodman Point Beach Kiosk

Woodman Point Beach Kiosk is a casual beachfront food and coffee stop at the northern end of Woodman Point Regional Park in Coogee, sitting by the sand at John Graham Reserve. It is the natural fuel stop for anyone walking the beach or heading to the off-leash stretch nearby.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating around the kiosk and through the surrounding reserve, kept on leash. This part of the park is not an off-leash zone, so hold the lead until you reach the dog beach a short walk away. There is no dedicated dog menu, but the counter staff are used to sandy, salty regulars, and the picnic-table setup makes an easy stop with a dog settled at your feet.

Worth knowing

The kiosk does straightforward beach food well: fish and chips, burgers with chips, sweet chilli chicken wraps, bacon and egg sandwiches, scoop ice cream and barista coffee. Hours are 7am to 2pm Tuesday to Friday, 7am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday, with Monday closed. It is order-at-the-counter and relaxed, and weekends through summer get busy with beach traffic, so mornings are the calmer window.

Getting there and parking

The kiosk sits off Magazine Road in Coogee, with free parking in the Woodman Point Regional Park car parks right beside it and flat, easy access from car to counter. The location works just as well as a midpoint stop on a coastal walk as a drive-in destination.

Make a day of it

The obvious pairing is the Jervoise Bay Dog Beach, a short walk away with calm, protected water for a swim and 24-hour off-leash access. The Coogee Dog Park is inland for a fenced run, and if you are hopping up the coast afterwards, The Salty Dog Beach Cafe in North Coogee is another dog-friendly stop.
