Lavish Dough Delights is a corner cafe on North Parade in Campsie doing Arabic-style brunch alongside fresh dough creations: freshly made pita, Lebanese pastries, flatbreads and evening pizza, with the Benny Fold and large breakfast bowls as the signatures. Leashed dogs are welcome at the outdoor footpath tables.

No water bowl is guaranteed on hand, so bring your own, and the footpath position means your dog will need to be comfortable with passing foot traffic. The tables go quickly at peak breakfast, so an early or late arrival makes the outdoor seating much easier to secure.

Pepsi: this is a corner-cafe brunch stop, not a long lounge. Order the flat white and a pastry, keep your dog tucked in on the footpath side, and enjoy the people-watching.

The vibe

Casual and welcoming, with the caramel laté, flat whites and smoothies pulling the morning crowd and the dough menu doing the rest. It is a compact local cafe rather than a big brunch hall, and the kitchen runs early: doors open from 4:45am weekdays and Saturday, 6am Sunday, with last orders around 2:30pm.

Getting there and parking

It is at 5/43 North Parade, Campsie, just off the main strip, with free street parking nearby and Campsie station a short walk away, which makes it an easy stop on foot rather than a parking mission.
