Jibba's Hot Sauce

Jibba's Hot Sauce is a small, punchy cafe and sauce maker at Unit 4/15 Cook Street Link, Busselton, next door to Geo Bay Butchers. It is known for packed banh mi, fiery toasties and small-batch hot sauces, and because there is essentially no indoor seating, every customer sits outside, which makes it an easy lunch stop with a dog on lead.

The dog setup

Seating is outdoors on the footpath and courtyard space, so dogs on lead simply sit in with you and staff are welcoming to well-behaved ones, with water bowls often put out. It is a grab-and-sit-outside operation: order at the counter, take a spot at the tables and keep the lead short while the banh mi queue moves.

The vibe

The crispy pork banh mi is the headline and it sells out, available on Fridays from 10am to 1pm, so text ahead with your name and pickup time or you will miss it. Expect locally made hot sauces, toasties and the odd cult item like hot honey cornbread, plus proper coffee. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 1pm and Friday to 2pm, closed weekends. Seating is limited, so timing a quieter window helps.

Getting there and parking

Cook Street Link sits in the Cook Street business area a short drive inland from the Busselton foreshore, with street parking around the complex; if it is tight, the nearby shops make a two-minute walk.

Close by with the dogs

Take the banh mi toward the coast: the Busselton foreshore parklands are on-lead and dogs are banned from the jetty itself, while the Vasse Dog Park a few minutes east gives fenced off-lead time.
