Espresso Bar Bundall

Espresso Bar Bundall is a fast, friendly specialty coffee bar at 100 Bundall Road, next door to the Wish Wash Car Wash, with undercover parking out front. It opens from 6am on weekdays through to 2pm and runs shorter hours on Saturday, and it pours Adore Specialty Coffee for a loyal local crowd.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating, and there is no fee or fuss about bringing one along. A frothy-milk pup cup is not a printed menu line, but the baristas are the smiley type and regulars ask for one with their order without a problem. Ask when you order so it arrives with the rest of the table.

Pepsi: The detour is worth it when the window crew already knows your order and keeps the milk froth coming for the back seat.

What to order. Coffee is the headline, with a loyalty program that pays off faster than most, plus smoothies including a well-liked blueberry blend, Byron Bay tea and a short menu of toasties and quick bites. Pre-orders go through the venue's online ordering page, which suits anyone on a school-run or pre-work schedule.

Getting there. Bundall Road carries the morning rush, and the undercover car park takes the stress out of the 7am to 9am peak. Outside those hours the whole stop is quick, and it folds neatly into a walk along the Bundall streets.

Close by with the dogs. Point the leash toward Scenic Park fenced dog park in Benowa for a proper off-leash run, or Cabana offleash dog area if you are closer to the water.
