Banksy Bar & Kitchen

Banksy Bar & Kitchen sits at The Spot on the Gold Coast Highway in Broadbeach, and it is one of the suburb's more genuinely dog-committed brunch venues. The name comes from the owners' Vizsla, so dogs are part of the plan here rather than a grudging afterthought.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the undercover outdoor patio, which is spacious by Broadbeach standards, with heaters through winter and shade through summer. Water bowls are provided, and the big doors open the dining room onto the patio so you never feel parked out the back. Dogs stay outside the main indoor dining area.

Worth knowing

The kitchen leans into brunch and specialty coffee: chilli eggs and smashed avo get regular mentions, and the bar side runs a broader list of Belgian beers and cocktails if you are staying past lunch. Weekend mornings are the busy window, so either come early or be prepared to wait for a patio table.

Getting there and parking

Find it on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and Chelsea Street, a short walk from the main Broadbeach shopping hub but away from the heaviest traffic. On-street parking in the surrounding streets is the practical option, and it fills early on weekends, which is one more argument for the pre-9am start.
