McCrumbs Deli

McCrumbs Deli brings an Irish deli counter to 160 Balcatta Road in Perth's northern suburbs, built on handmade jambons, sausage rolls and made-to-order chicken fillet rolls. It is a counter-service quick stop, and dogs are welcome to settle outside while their humans collect coffee and something off the counter. Weekday doors open at 6am, weekends at 8am.

The dog setup

Dogs use the outdoor seating and the front steps, and regulars are often photographed waiting patiently out the front while the rolls are built. There are no dedicated pet amenities, so carry your own water bowl. It suits a dog that is happy in the industrial-strip bustle of a lunch-hour queue.

The vibe

The kitchen bakes fresh daily in the Irish style: flaky ham-and-cheese jambons, house pork sausage rolls, loaded breakfast rolls, and chicken fillet rolls built to order with your choice of toppings and sauces. Barista coffee, wraps, wedges and curry sauce round it out. Local coverage has made it a destination for Perth's Irish community as much as the industrial and retail workers around Balcatta, so the lunch rush is real.

Getting there and parking

It is easily reached from Reid Highway or Wanneroo Road, with on-site parking plus free street parking nearby. It works best as a quick coffee-and-lunch stop rather than a long sit.

Close by with the dogs

Lake Gwelup Reserve, a few minutes north, is the City of Stirling's big off-lead favourite with bush tracks and a lake loop. On Balcatta Road itself, Brew Thru covers the drive-through coffee run. Weekends, Yokine Reserve's ovals add a sprawling off-lead option with a coffee van.
