Swalk Cafe at 129 Lancaster Road, Ascot is a neighbourhood breakfast spot with a feature very few Brisbane cafes can match: a small fenced dog area at the back of the outdoor seating, so your dog can potter about off-leash while you eat a few metres away.

Getting there. Street parking on Lancaster Road is limited at peak breakfast times, so check the surrounding side streets. It is an easy drive from Hamilton and Clayfield.
