Seoul Sisters

Seoul Sisters is a small Korean-fusion cafe on Halifax Street in the quieter southern CBD, run by chef Chung Jae Lee's team. Dogs are welcome at the footpath tables, which makes it a good pick for elevated brunch with the dog away from the busier strips.

The dog setup. Dogs join you at the outdoor footpath seating along leafy Halifax Street, not inside the compact dining room. Staff are warm and will usually bring water on request; bring your own collapsible bowl to be safe. The footpath tables are on the smaller side, so a calm, well-mannered dog tucked at your feet works best here.

Good to know. The food is creative Korean fusion, kimchi fried rice, bibimbap and a Korean take on smashed avo among the regulars, with consistently good coffee. It is a breakfast-and-lunch place that leans cosy and intimate rather than sprawling.

Getting there and parking. The cafe is at 84 Halifax Street. Metered street parking is usually findable along Halifax Street in the morning, but check the signs. It is a short walk from King William Street buses and the South Terrace tram.

Nearby with the dogs. The Himeji Garden on South Terrace is a short walk for a quiet on-lead stroll, and Veale Gardens and the South Parklands are close by for a proper run.

Mornings are the easiest time to grab a footpath table; weekend brunch fills the small frontage fast. A relaxed, slightly different choice for a dog-friendly meal in the south CBD.
