Seoul Sisters

Seoul Sisters runs a compact Korean-fusion kitchen at 84 Halifax Street, on the quiet southern edge of the Adelaide CBD, under chef Chung Jae Lee's team. It is a breakfast-and-lunch room rather than an all-day operation, and the dog-friendly half of the equation is the leafy footpath strip out front.

Dogs join you at the outdoor footpath tables along Halifax Street; the small indoor dining room is people only. Staff are happy to bring water when asked, though there is no dedicated dog menu or treat jar, so a collapsible bowl is worth packing. The frontage is snug, which suits a calm dog that will settle under or beside a chair while you eat.

Worth knowing

The menu leans properly Korean rather than vaguely pan-Asian: kimchi fried rice, bibimbap and a Korean take on smashed avo, with chilli prawns there for the ambitious. Coffee runs on Dimattina beans and holds up in reviews, and table service keeps the small room moving. Hours are 7:30am to 3pm on weekdays, with weekend service from 8:30am to 2pm.

Getting there and parking

Metered street parking along Halifax Street is usually findable on weekday mornings, but read the signs. The cafe sits a short walk from King William Street bus stops and the South Terrace tram, and the southern parklands loop straight onto the grid.

Close by with the dogs

The Himeji Garden on South Terrace is a few minutes away for a quiet on-lead loop, and the South Parklands give a proper stretch of grass beyond it. For another seat close by, Halifax Cafe is on the same street, and North Adelaide Fenced Dog Park is the city's go-to for proper off-lead time.
