Ravenscroft Vineyard

Ravenscroft Vineyard is a small, family-run cellar door on the New England Highway west of Stanthorpe, and one of the genuinely dog-friendly stops on the Granite Belt wine trail. Well-behaved visiting dogs are welcome inside the cellar door itself, not just on the deck, which puts it well ahead of most of the district.

The dog setup

Dogs can join you inside for a tasting, out on the covered deck, or at the picnic tables under the trees. The property keeps friendly resident dogs who greet arrivals, so your own dog should be comfortable meeting others before you settle in with a cheeseboard.

Max: resident dogs on site are a lovely touch but not every dog will settle for a tasting next to a stranger. If yours is reactive around other dogs, call ahead first.

The vibe

This is a small-batch, handcrafted operation with a peaceful atmosphere and owners who run the room themselves. Local cheese platters come with the tastings, and outdoor heaters and blankets take the edge off Granite Belt evenings, which run cold even in summer.

Getting there and parking

The cellar door opens Friday to Sunday from 10:30am to 4:30pm and closes Monday to Thursday. It sits directly on the New England Highway, so it is easy to find, with on-site parking at the door.
