Marion's Vineyard

Marion's Vineyard is a small, family-run winery on the Tamar River at 335 Deviot Road, Deviot. Dog owners head here for the riverside lawns: dogs can stay with you on-leash while you work through a tasting or a platter overlooking the water.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on-leash across the grounds, including the lawn and garden seating areas where you will be eating and drinking. Nearby with the dogs. For off-leash exercise before or after your tasting, Exeter Fenced Dog Park in Exeter is a short drive away. If you want a second cellar door, Moores Hill Estate in Sidmouth is a short drive north, as is Small Wonder Wines in Kayena. For a meal on the same side of the river, The Ducks Bar and Restaurant at Rosevears offers dog-friendly dining a short drive south.

Weekday visits are quieter and easier with a dog. If you are heading out on a weekend, call ahead so staff can sort out the best outdoor spot for you. Suits relaxed owners who want good wine, a decent platter and room for the dog to sit by the river.
