Underwood Park

Underwood Park on Underwood Road in Priestdale mixes paved paths and bush tracks with a wetland lagoon, a wooden boardwalk and a viewing platform. It also has fenced off-lead areas, so one visit covers both a walk and a run.

Leads and the off-lead area

Logan City Council requires dogs on a lead on the general paths and walking tracks, and on the way to and from the car. Dogs are kept out of the playground and manicured garden zones.

The park's dedicated fenced dog areas are where they can come off the lead.

The walk

Pram-friendly concrete paths suit an easy loop, while dirt and mulch bush tracks give dogs more to sniff. Head out along the lagoon boardwalk and watch for water dragons and ducks from the platform.
