Towradgi Creek Walk

Towradgi Creek Walk follows the creek between Corrimal and Towradgi, running near East Corrimal and Towradgi Beach Park. It is flat and easy, with birdlife on the water, and dogs walk it on a lead.

Lead rules

Wollongong City Council requires dogs to be on a lead on shared paths and along the creek line. Some beach and park zones near the coast have their own off-leash or time-share rules, so follow the signs if you head onto the sand.

The walk

A paved shared path and compacted tracks run beside the calm creek, lined with coastal plants. Near the beach park the route opens onto grassy fields and ocean views.

The flat surface suits dogs of any fitness, as well as prams and wheelchairs.

Water and shade

Bubblers with low bowls sit near the main park and playground, and bins are frequent along the path and picnic spots. Mature trees and sheltered tables give some shade in the reserve.

Free parking is at Towradgi Beach Park and on nearby streets.

Make a day of it

Finish with a coffee in Corrimal at Culture Cafe Corrimal or Doya's Espresso.

Local dog walkers gather here, which suits social dogs. Nervous dogs may do better with an early start.
