Taylors Creek Lakeside Loop

The Taylors Creek Lakeside Loop runs beside the Watergardens Town Centre in Taylors Lakes, joining the Taylors Creek Trail on a paved path past a chain of urban wetlands. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Lead rules

Brimbank City Council requires dogs on lead along the shared paths and public spaces unless an area is signed as off-lead. Dogs are not allowed inside the shopping centre itself, apart from accredited assistance and guide dogs.

The walk

The path is smooth concrete and asphalt, shared with prams and bikes. Along the creek you pass wetlands, birdlife and open grassy reserves.

Getting started

There is free parking around the shopping centre, with time limits between 1.5 and 4 hours, and the car parks give easy access to the pedestrian paths. Watergardens Station is nearby too.

Water is scarce around the town centre edge, so bring a bottle and bowl.
