Stewart Park

Stewart Park is a quiet green pocket in Marsfield, a short way from busy Epping Road, and it works best as a calm neighbourhood stroll. Dogs are welcome on a lead.

Lead rules

The park is managed by the City of Ryde, and dogs must stay leashed and under effective control. There is no off-lead area here.

The walk

Paved and concrete park paths run alongside open lawn, with remnant woodland trees giving a mix of sun and shade. The ground is flat and easy, which suits short morning or evening leg-stretches.

Before you go

Dedicated dog water is limited in smaller local parks like this one, so bring a bottle and bags. Street parking is on the nearby residential streets.

Max: Epping Road is close. Keep the lead on all the way to the car.

If your dog needs a run afterwards, ELS Hall Park Fenced Dog Park is fully fenced and close by. Marsfield Park on Vimiera Road is also off lead outside organised sport.

The flat paths and shade make this an easy walk for older dogs and small legs.
