Spreyton Shared Pathway

The Spreyton Shared Pathway is a sealed Devonport City Council path linking Spreyton with Quoiba. It is an easy, paved walk with river views, and dogs stay on lead.

Lead rules

Devonport City Council requires dogs to be on lead and under effective control on its shared tracks. Off-lead running is kept to the council's signed exercise areas.

The walk

The path is sealed concrete and asphalt, so it is firm underfoot in any weather. Sections follow the banks of the Mersey River, with heritage signs telling local stories along the way.

Bikes share the path, so keep the lead short when riders pass.

Good for older dogs and wet days. Bring water for the dog.
