The paths through the Providence community parks in South Ripley link splash play, open lawns and outdoor exercise equipment, with an off-lead dog park on Harmony Crescent to finish.

Leads and the off-lead area

Ipswich City Council keeps dogs on lead along the community park paths and in the active recreation zones. The designated off-lead space is the dog park on Harmony Crescent.

The walk

The paths are concrete and flat, passing the splash pad, wide green space and fitness gear. It is an easy estate stroll rather than a set route.

Bring water for the dog, as bubblers are not confirmed along the paths.

Round it off at Harmony Crescent Park Fenced Dog Park, or grab food at Little Piggy Cafe in Ripley.

Paved and level, it suits older dogs and prams. Warm afternoons are best avoided on the open lawns.
