Two Rivulets Circuit

Nothing is signposted as Risdon Vale Creek Park. The walk locals mean follows the creek lines as the Two Rivulets Circuit and the Risdon Vale Rivulet Track, with drystone bridges and bushland on the edge of the suburb.

Lead rules

Clarence City Council requires dogs on lead along the track circuits.

For off-lead time, Risdon Vale Park on Heather Road allows dogs off lead under effective control, at least 10 metres from the play equipment. The Sugarloaf Road dog exercise area is another option.

The walk

Expect formed dirt and gravel track mixed with shared paths and fire trails. The route follows the creek through native bush, crosses drystone bridges and opens up to views of Mount Direction and the Meehan Range.

Mature trees give patchy shade, and bins are mostly at the suburban entry points. Bring water for the dog.

Max: Creek banks and fire trails mean uneven footing. A short lead keeps you both upright on the loose gravel.
