Moncrieff Community Recreation Park

Moncrieff Community Recreation Park sits on a hilltop off Bon Scott Crescent in Moncrieff, with paved paths, a colourful playground and a miniature learn-to-ride track. Dogs are welcome on lead.

Lead rules

ACT rules keep dogs on lead here, and out of the zone within 10 metres of play spaces, barbecues or fireplaces in use. With a busy playground in the middle, plan your loop around the edges.

The walk

The paths are paved and smooth, linking the open grass, fitness equipment and courts. There is drinking water, shelters and shade sails, and public toilets on site.

For off-lead time, try Forde Dog Park or Springbank Rise Dog Park.

When to go

Weekday mornings, before the playground gets busy. The even paths suit older dogs.
