A Tuscan-style sandwich shop and coffee bar sitting right on the Yerrabi Pond waterfront, and one of the easiest dog stops in Gungahlin because it is built into the lake circuit. If you are already walking the pond, it is a natural place to pull up with a coffee.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, which look straight over the water, and reviewers report dogs are allowed inside as well, so wet weather is not a deal-breaker. Water bowls are put out for passing dogs. The paths here are wide and well paved, so there is room to settle a dog beside your chair without blocking foot traffic.

Known for. Schiacciata sandwiches on 72-hour fermented bread and ONA coffee, plus the waterfront setting that makes it a local favourite for a mid-walk break.

Getting there. The address is 60A Phyllis Ashton Cct, Gungahlin. There is a free car park nearby plus some street parking, but the easiest arrival is on foot straight off the Yerrabi Pond circuit.

Nearby with the dogs. The Yerrabi Pond circuit runs past the door, a wide sealed loop with dog drinking stations spaced along the way, which makes a coffee stop and a proper walk one and the same trip.

Grab a table on the water side, do a lap of the pond first, then cool off with a water bowl while you order.

Weekends and Friday and Saturday evenings run busier since it stays open late then; a weekday morning is the calmest window if your dog prefers a quiet table.
