Marybrook to Quindalup Trail

Geographe Bay stays in view for the whole walk on the Marybrook foreshore shared path, mapped as the Marybrook to Quindalup Trail. It is quieter than the stretches near Busselton or Dunsborough, and dogs stay on lead.

Lead rules

The City of Busselton requires dogs on lead on its footpaths and shared paths, including this one. Some nearby beach strips have their own zones and seasonal rules, so read the signs before stepping onto the sand.

The walk

The path is sealed and runs along the shore toward Quindalup, with calm, turquoise water and sandy beaches beside it. Peppermint trees shade some sections, while the beachfront stretches are in full sun.

Getting started

Parking is informal, in bays and beach access pull-offs off Bussell Highway and the coastal side streets. Bins sit at the main beach accesses and road crossings.

There are few fountains on this narrow path, so carry water and a bowl.

Stop at Vasse Bakery, or let the dog run at Vasse Dog Park.

When to go

Morning and evening are the local favourites, with softer light over the bay and less heat on the open stretches. It suits a steady on-lead walker that likes a long, flat stroll.
