Gumeracha Oval Walking Trail

Gumeracha Oval on Albert Street is an open sporting ground rather than a marked trail, and its appeal is simple. Adelaide Hills Council lists it as a dog off-leash area.

Leads and the off-lead area

Dogs can run off lead in the designated parts of the oval grounds whenever no organised sport or event is on. When a game is running, the oval is not available for off-lead play.

What to expect

This is laps of open grass rather than a path, with mature trees and club buildings framing the ground and the Torrens Valley Community Centre close by.

Public toilets are on site, and there is off-street parking nearby, including by The Green Shed. Bring water for the dog.

When to go
