Cherry Hill Way Reserve

Cherry Hill Way Reserve is a small pocket park among the houses of Chirnside Park, handy for a quick, quiet stroll on the lead rather than a destination walk.

Lead rules

Dogs must stay on a lead here. It is not one of Yarra Ranges Council's designated off-leash areas.

What it's like

Expect grassy reserve and the neighbourhood footpaths around it, with mature trees giving shade in patches and open lawn in full sun. Botanica Reserve, another pocket park close by, can stretch the walk.

Street parking is easy along Cherry Hill Way and the nearby streets. Bring water and a bowl, as dog water on site is unconfirmed.

For an off-lead run, Kimberley Drive Reserve Off Leash Dog Park and Sunset Drive Reserve Dog Off Leash Area are both in Chirnside Park.

Low traffic and no crowds make it a good choice for reactive or nervous dogs. Link it with the surrounding footpaths if you want a longer loop.
