Caddies Creek Reserve

Caddies Creek Reserve follows the creek through Rouse Hill on flat, wide paved paths, with remnant Cumberland Plain Woodland and water birds along the way. Dogs are welcome on lead.

Lead rules

The Hills Shire Council requires dogs on a lead on the walking paths and through the reserve. For off-lead play there is a fenced dog park with separate zones for small and large dogs.

The walk

The paths are fully paved and flat, easy going for prams, wheelchairs and older dogs. They pass open grass, creekside habitat and patches of woodland.

Shade comes and goes. Tree-lined stretches alternate with open sections beside the creek and sports fields.

Water and parking

Bubblers and taps are near the sports fields and main reserve areas, and bins are spread through the picnic spots. Parking is off Millcroft Way and Radisson Place.

Make a day of it

Connie Lowe Reserve is nearby, and The Local Shed Cafe is handy for a coffee.

When to go

Walk early or late in summer, since the open stretches get little shade. The flat paths suit senior dogs and anyone pushing a pram.
