Norris Bank Reserve

Norris Bank Reserve follows Darebin Creek through Bundoora, off McLeans Road, with a sealed path and plenty of birdlife. The deciding fact for many owners is the fenced off-leash dog area at its eastern end.

Lead rules

The City of Whittlesea manages the reserve. Inside the fenced dog area, dogs can run off lead.

On the walking paths and across the rest of the reserve, they stay on a lead.

The walk

The path is sealed asphalt and concrete, part of the shared trail network along the creek. Darebin Creek winds beside you, lined with native trees.

Because the path links into the Darebin Creek Trail, you can make the walk as long or as short as you like.

Max: Shared trail means cyclists. Keep the lead short until you are inside the fence.

Who it suits

A good fit for dogs still working on their recall, since the off-lead run is fenced. Bring water for the dog.
