100 Aker Wood

Tucked behind the pony club on Quarry Road, 100 Aker Wood is an informal bush loop at Bundanoon with a little wooden footbridge over a creek. Locals walk it with their dogs on lead, under a full canopy of trees.

Lead rules

This is unproclaimed bushland in Wingecarribee Shire, not a council leash-free area. Keep dogs on lead and under control.

The walk

The track is natural dirt singletrack that winds through dense bush. The shallow creek crossing is a good spot for a drink or a splash.

There are no taps or bins on the track, so bring water and take your bags home. Park informally near the pony club.

Make a day of it

Back in the village, Milk and Daisy Co and DeliLicious Bundanoon are close by for a coffee.

When to go

The full canopy makes it a good pick on warm days. It is also mapped as a mountain bike trail, so keep an ear out for riders.
