Bovell Oval

Bovell Oval on the Vasse Highway is a sporting complex first, home to football, hockey and soccer clubs. Its perimeter paths and open fields still make a straightforward on-lead walk on the edge of Busselton.

Lead rules

The City of Busselton requires dogs on a lead here, as on all public footpaths and shared paths. Dogs are also kept off the playing surfaces while organised sport or training is on.

Around the ovals

The walk follows grassed open ground and sealed paths linking the perimeter and car park, with wide manicured fields, clubrooms and scattered native trees. Sightlines are open, so you can see what is coming.

There is a playground, barbecues and public toilets. Dog amenities are limited, so pack water and waste bags.
