BIG4 Park Lane Noosa North Shore

BIG4 Park Lane Noosa North Shore is a caravan and glamping park in bushland across the Noosa River from Tewantin, reached only by the vehicle ferry, and it is one of the few pet-friendly stays on the North Shore. Dogs are taken on powered and unpowered sites and in a handful of specifically pet-friendly glamping tents.

Dogs must be advised at booking and stay on lead at all times within the park. Cabins, the pool, camp kitchen and other common areas are off-limits, with assistance dogs the only exception. The park generally takes one dog per site booking, and pet-friendly glamping options carry a per-pet nightly fee on top of the rate, so confirm the current amount when you book. Vaccination details may be requested, and you should bring your own bowls, bedding and food.

The vibe

It is a camping-ground atmosphere rather than a resort one: glamping tents, cabins and sites scattered through bush with kangaroos moving through at dawn and dusk, and plenty of kit for kids including a jumping pillow, mini golf and bike tracks. The beach side of the North Shore is a short walk, and that stretch of coast is dog-friendly under the Cooloola Recreation Area rules, so keep an eye on signage and lead requirements there.

Getting there

Cross the Noosa River on the vehicle ferry from Tewantin, a short hop that runs continuously; there is a fee each way. Once across, the park is a few minutes along the North Shore road.
