Book the pet-friendly apartment type specifically rather than any room, because Quest properties allocate a limited number of pet apartments and they sell out separately from the rest of the building. Confirm the deposit amount and any breed restrictions when you book, since conditions can differ between properties in the same group.

The apartments

Full kitchens, laundries and balconies make this a workable base for a week with a dog, and there are small grassy relief areas on-site for toilet breaks. Secure on-site parking is available, and the tram along Whitehorse Road runs right past if you would rather leave the car. Reviews regularly call the staff accommodating toward pets rather than merely tolerant.

Pepsi: Two dogs under 30kg and a real kitchen is the sweet spot here. For anything bigger or hairier, ring ahead before you commit.
