Salt 112

Salt 112 is a 3-bedroom self-contained holiday house on Middleton Road, an award-winning pet-friendly stay with a large fenced back garden and views over Lake Seppings to Mount Clarence.

The pet policy. Dogs are welcome inside the house but must stay off the furniture. A fee of $5 per dog per day applies. Dogs need to be treated for fleas before arrival. The back garden is fenced with 1.8 metre Colorbond panels, though a 1.2 metre farm gate at the side may not hold a dog that jumps, so check that gate if yours is a climber. Do not leave dogs unattended in the main house, use the back sunroom if you need to step out briefly.

The place. Sleeps up to 8, air-conditioned, with a plumbed-in barbecue and a rear deck looking over Lake Seppings. Three houses from a fish and chip shop, and roughly a 15 minute walk to the beach.

Location and nearby. Middleton Beach is dog-friendly 24/7 and an easy walk away. Mount Clarence and Mount Adelaide reserve are close by for bush walks, and there's a park five minutes on foot for a quick leg-stretch.

Before you book. Good for a group wanting a fenced yard and a short walk to an always-on dog beach. Confirm the flea treatment requirement and gate height suit your dog before locking in dates.
