Make a day of it

For an off-lead run, Mapleton Dog Park is the local option near the village. One trap to know: dogs are not permitted in Mapleton National Park or on the falls walking tracks, so keep bushwalks to dog-friendly routes and use the dog park instead. After the walk, Mapleton Public House is the village spot for a meal.
