Albury Holiday Park

Albury Holiday Park at 481 Wagga Road in Lavington, once known as Albury All Seasons Tourist Park, is a roadside park on the northern edge of Albury that takes dogs in designated pet-friendly cabins and on pet-friendly sites, with no extra pet fee. For travellers working the Hume with the dog, that combination of cabin comfort and a zero-charge pet policy is the reason this one earns its spot.

Dogs at the park

Dogs of any size are allowed, but only in select designated pet-friendly cabins, so flag your dog when you book and make sure you are allocated the right unit; bringing a dog into a standard cabin risks cleaning or damage charges under the park's terms. Cats and other pets are generally not accepted. Around the park the rules are standard caravan-park discipline: dogs on a physical leash at all times outside your cabin or site, never left unattended, not allowed on the balcony of non-designated cabins, picked up after immediately, and no excessive barking or aggression. The park is upfront that it enforces those rules.

The park itself

Facilities cover an outdoor swimming pool, a children's playground, a communal BBQ area, a camp kitchen and a laundry and amenities block, with powered gravel and grassed sites for caravans alongside the self-contained cabins. Guest feedback keeps circling the same points: quiet, friendly management, spotless amenities and hot showers, and cabins that are better kept than the price suggests. It is a practical overnight or few-days base for the Albury-Wodonga border towns rather than a destination park.

Out with the dog

For a proper off-lead run, Belvoir Park Dog Park across the river in Wodonga is the closest fenced option. Coffee and breakfast are an easy drive to House of Ivy in Albury, and if the pet cabins are booked out, Albury Gardens Tourist Park up the road also runs pet-friendly cabins.
