Ground rules are standard for a park with shared facilities: dogs stay on a lead and under control outside your own site, owners clean up promptly, and the swimming pool enclosure is a no-go for pets.

The park itself

The layout is large grassed areas with mature trees screening the road noise, and guests regularly point to the ensuite sites and drive-through sites as the pick for travellers passing through on the Hume. Amenities include a pool, camp kitchen and clean amenity blocks. For a dog owner it means an early morning walk on grass without leaving the park, with the border and the river country a short drive away.

Getting there and parking

Lavington is the northern suburb of Albury, and Catherine Crescent sits back from the main roads, so access is easy from Wagga Road or the Hume Highway without driving through the city centre. Sites have room for a van plus the car, and cabin guests park at the door. Lavi fish and chips and the Lavington shopping strip are both minutes away.

For proper off-lead time, the Logan Road Park Fenced Dog Park in North Albury is the closest fenced option.
