Pets are excluded from reception, amenities blocks, the laundry, playground and camp kitchen. Getting there and parking

The park is at 125 Mahoneys Road, Killarney, a small coastal settlement between Port Fairy and Warrnambool. Port Fairy, about ten minutes away, handles the town runs for cafes, supplies and a vet if needed. Once you arrive and set up, the car stays parked.

Worth knowing

Beach rules are seasonal. Moyne Shire prohibits dogs on the beach section between the boat ramp and 200 metres west of the main car park between 9am and 6pm daily from 1 December to Easter Monday. Outside those hours and outside summer, dogs are permitted off lead. The adjoining Belfast Coastal Reserve offers low-traffic on-lead walking, and signage at each beach entry is the final word.
