The pet-friendly cabin allocation is limited because some cabins are kept strictly pet-free for allergy-sensitive guests. Inside a pet cabin, dogs must stay off the furniture and beds and arrive dry and reasonably clean, and a short lead applies everywhere around the park grounds.

The vibe

This is a resort-style family park: an indoor playground, a jumping pillow and a games room keep the kids busy while the dog gets the lawns. Clean, comfortable cabins are the recurring note in guest feedback.

Getting there and parking

The park fronts the McIvor Highway on Bendigo's eastern side, with drive-through access for vans and off-street parking at the cabins. Town, the hospital and the Lake Weeroona precinct are all within a ten-minute drive.

While you're out there

For an off-lead run, Harcourt Dog Park at Strathdale is the nearest fenced option, and the cafes around town such as The Golden Bean handle dogs outside. If Park Lane is booked out, BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks Bendigo at White Hills is the alternative caravan stay.
