Coolum Beach Holiday Park

Coolum Beach Holiday Park is a Sunshine Coast Council park sitting directly across from the patrolled Coolum Beach, within walking distance of the town centre, cafes and the coastal boardwalk. Dogs are welcome on application, but only on designated sites, not in cabins.

The pet policy. Dogs are accepted at the manager's discretion, and you must apply and read the park's Dog Friendly Conditions of Acceptance before booking. Dogs are allowed only on specific designated dog-friendly sites, with a maximum of two dogs per site and a fee of $5 per dog per night. Dogs are not permitted in cabins, and a $150 cleaning fee applies if that rule is breached. Confirm site availability and current fees at booking.

The rules. Dogs must be leashed at all times, must not pass through non-dog-friendly areas, and are not allowed in common areas including amenity blocks, the laundry, camp kitchen or BBQ areas. Owners must clean up immediately, and excessive barking may mean being asked to leave.

The place. The big draw is the beachfront position, opposite the surf and a short walk from Coolum's shops and restaurants, with Mount Coolum nearby for walks.

Getting there. The address is 18-29 Beach Road, Coolum Beach, reached via the Sunshine Motorway or David Low Way, with parking on or near your booked site.

Nearby with the dogs. The sandy beach is just across the road, the coastal boardwalk runs along the headland, and the Stumers Creek off-leash beach is a short way north for a proper run.
