Salty Paws is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom single-level holiday house in Caves Beach, NSW, set up specifically for guests travelling with dogs, with a fenced front garden, a gated deck and a dog wash station on the balcony.

The pet policy. Dogs are allowed inside the house. The property has a fenced grassy yard, a gated deck and a hot and cold water tap on the balcony with Dindi Naturals dog shampoo supplied for washing off after the beach. A toy basket, dog beds on the deck, towels and blankets are provided.

The place. A fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, Xbox, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, internal laundry and full bed linen. There's an undercover BBQ area and off-street parking for two cars. Standard check-in is 3pm via SMS access code, with mandatory guest registration and photo ID required before arrival.

House rules to know. A strict no-party, non-excessive-noise policy applies, with an external security camera at the driveway and active noise-monitoring devices. Visitor numbers are restricted and extra guests need approval.

Location & nearby. The house sits on a quiet residential street around 500 to 700 metres from the coast, about a 15-minute walk to the Caves Beach town centre, and 5 minutes to the local IGA and shops. Hams Beach, a 24-hour off-leash beach accessed via Mawson Close, is a short walk or drive away. Caves Coastal Bar and Bungalows is roughly 500 metres from the house.

Max's takegerman shepherd
summer (December to March) gets busy here and dog access on the main beaches can be limited to early morning and evening in peak season, so Hams Beach's 24-hour off-leash status is the reliable fallback if you want a midday walk.

Before you book. This is a residential street with active noise monitoring, so it suits owners after a quiet, dog-friendly base rather than a party house. Confirm current dates and any temporary local restrictions directly with the property before booking.
