Boffee Café is a coastal breakfast-and-lunch spot on Caves Beach Road, open daily from early morning, and it is genuinely set up for dogs rather than just tolerating them.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor, undercover footpath seating along Caves Beach Road. It is a small space, and other dogs are regularly around, so a settled dog on a lead is the right fit. Water bowls are typically put out for pups.

Good to know. The menu leans brunch: acai bowls, poached eggs, vegan pancakes, chilli scramble and brekkie tacos, with a solid vegetarian and vegan range. Service is friendly but the tables turn over fast on weekends, so expect a wait if you roll up at peak brunch hours.

Getting there. Free street parking is available on Caves Beach Road and the surrounding streets. The entry is flat and level, easy to manage with a dog and a pram at the same time.

Nearby. Caves Beach itself is a few minutes away for a walk before or after coffee, and Hams Beach's 24-hour off-leash area is a short drive further along.
