Busselton Holiday Village

Busselton Holiday Village is a caravan park at 118 Peel Terrace in the heart of Busselton, a short stroll from the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory. It runs chalets, a guest house, on-site vans and powered sites, and it does take dogs, but on the park's own terms: by prior arrangement with the owner, and only during certain times of the year. If your dates line up, it is a clean, quiet base an easy walk from town and the foreshore.

The park's terms state it plainly: pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement with the park owner during certain times of the year. That means approval is a phone call, not an assumption. Dogs are typically welcome on the caravan and camping sites rather than in the built accommodation, so if you want a chalet, on-site van or townhouse with the dog, ask management directly whether your dates and unit type are covered. No pet fee or size limit is published, so confirm both when you book, and bring your dog's own bedding and bowls.

The vibe

A tidy village park: large grassed powered sites close to the solar-heated pool and amenities block, an undercover gazebo with free gas BBQs, a camp kitchen with hotplate, fridge and microwave, a playground and a four-machine laundry. Guests single out cleanliness and helpful check-in. The park sits in a residential area with permanent residents on site, and the terms enforce a firm noise curfew after 10pm, so this is a settle-down-early park rather than a party one.

Getting there and out with the dog

Peel Terrace is central Busselton, so the jetty precinct, shops and cafes are walkable. Beach rules matter here: the sand either side of the Busselton Jetty prohibits dogs year-round, while stretches of the West Busselton foreshore allow off-lead time, so check the City of Busselton's seasonal beach map before you head down. The foreshore paths themselves make a good on-lead morning walk.
